The RPI Playhouse is home to the performing arts and student-run theatre at Rensselaer. The Playhouse is a Union facility, and is operated by a team of students with the support of the Rensselaer Union administrative staff. This site contains information regarding the venue and its user groups.

Various groups and organizations use the RPI Playhouse. The RPI Players are the primary user of the building, but many other organizations, including the Young Actors Guild and the DX cast of Alpha Psi Omega, call the Playhouse home. Each organization below uses the Playhouse in some capacity, and they may be contacted via information from their websites that are linked.
The RPI Playhouse can be reserved using Union Room Reservations (EMS). Here you may request to book the auidtorium, lobby, or entirety of the building. These requests are reviewed by the Technical Director.
Please note that Playhouse affiliated organizations have priority in scheduling the building. Other events must be able to work around the requests of these groups. Please do not hesistate to reach out the the Technical Director with any questions!
If you would like to reserve the Playhouse for an RPI affiliated group, and do not have an RCS ID, please contact the Technical Director.
If you would like to reserve the Playhouse for an external (non-RPI) organization, please contact Jackie Zysk (zyskj@rpi.edu) in addition to the Technical Director.
Certain Playhouse equipment may be borrowed upon request. If you are interested in using Playhouse equipment for a show/event, please see the Equipment Rental Contract & Terms and Conditions.
